With a full 12 months up their sleeve, Calista & Brendan had the perfect amount of time to ensure their big day was everything they envisioned. Only visiting two prospective venues, Calista says the choice was already made when they laid eyes on the Kennilworth Homestead.
Wearing the gorgeous Anna Campbell Giselle gown for the ceremony, Calista wowed guests by swapping to a cheeky tea length reception gown and launching into a choreographed (and adapted) version of the iconic Dirty Dancing scene with Brendan - a routine that the pair claims injected some fun into what could otherwise be stressful wedding preparations.

“Do your own thing. Don’t do things just because that’s how they are always done. We wanted a wedding that represented our personalities and loves and it made the day so much more fun to not be harnessed by tradition”
